About GrantPrizePath

A clearer path from an idea to an application

GrantPrizePath is free to use. It helps individuals, writers, researchers and organizations find funding and prepare applications. It does not charge for access or guarantee awards.

1. Start with the opportunity, not the prize amount

A grant normally supports a proposed project; an award may recognize an existing work or achievement. Scholarships and residencies can have attendance requirements. Read what the programme funds, who may apply, what must be delivered and whether there are fees. Free access to GrantPrizePath does not mean that every external competition is free to enter.

2. Separate location from eligibility

The country administering a programme is different from the applicant’s country of residence or citizenship. A programme in another country may accept international applicants, restrict applicants to local organizations, or require a partner. Never assume that a foreign call is open worldwide. Unknown criteria stay unknown.

3. Check the current edition and its dates

A search result can describe a prize that closed years ago. Check the edition, the official rules, the closing date and its time zone. Our live Grants.gov search excludes closed records and lets you filter application deadlines. An unknown closing date cannot satisfy an exact date range.

4. Prepare evidence before drafting

Use a private profile and documents to organize your experience, project objectives, work plan and budget. An editable outline helps identify missing information. AI drafting requires explicit consent for the facts sent to the provider. You must verify claims, figures, references and the programme’s rules on AI assistance.

5. Review, submit and retain proof

Save your draft and review the official checklist. GrantPrizePath does not currently send applications or emails to funders. Submit through the organizer’s official process and retain its receipt. A saved draft is not a submitted application.
